Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certification/on‑the‑job training.
• Minimum of three years’ editorial experience and two years’ educational assessment experience.
• Demonstrates strong end‑to‑end copyediting proficiency across spelling, grammar, punctuation, and usage.
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat and Office 365 apps; understands HTML/XML basics for web publishing.
• Clear, respectful communication; accepts feedback and works collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, and style per department and client standards.
• Ensures uniformity across assessment components and identifies errors efficiently.
• Adheres to client style guidelines and flags deviations when needed.
• Understands editor scope and communicates concerns promptly.
• Leads editorial work when assigned and coordinates with stakeholders.
