Job summary

You will mentor others, leverage AI tools with editorial oversight, and contribute to the evolution of publishing workflows in a dynamic, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certification/on-the-job training.
• Minimum of three years’ editorial experience and two years’ educational assessment experience.
• Strong end-to-end copyediting proficiency and knowledge of major style guides.

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, syntax, and style per department and industry standards; applies rules consistently.
• Ensures uniformity and consistency across assessment components; minimizes mistakes.
• Applies client style guidelines and queries deviations when necessary.
• Understanding the copyeditor’s scope and escalating concerns when needed.
• Proactively seeks learning opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise.
