Copeland is seeking a Controls Trainer for remote US operations. You will deliver instructor-led training on Copeland controls and system components to customers, contractors, OEMs, and employees across the commercial refrigeration industry, translating complex concepts into practical hands-on learning.

The role requires 5+ years with refrigeration controls, 2+ years CO2 controls, strong presentation skills, ability to travel up to 80%, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration controls as field service technician or engineer.
• 2+ years CO2 system experience focusing on controls and troubleshooting questions.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for varied audiences.
• Working knowledge of controls programming, wiring diagrams and system troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and multimedia training on controls hardware, software, and system architecture.
• Conduct standard and custom courses for customer and OEM requirements.
• Facilitate hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting exercises.
• Update curriculum and training materials to reflect new controls and firmware.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and SMEs to ensure accurate content.
• Review and validate technical accuracy of e-learning, videos and job aids.
• Travel to customer sites and events as needed and provide post-training support.
