Copeland is hiring a Controls Trainer to deliver technical training on controls and system components to customers, contractors, and employees across the commercial refrigeration industry. You will translate complex concepts into practical, hands-on learning for installation, programming, operation, and troubleshooting of our controls portfolio.

This fully remote role requires travel to customer sites and Copeland locations as needed.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration controls as field service technician, engineer or equivalent.
• 2+ years of CO2 system experience focusing on controls and common service questions.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for varied audiences.
• Working knowledge of controls programming, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to travel 80% of the time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and multimedia training on controls hardware, software, and system architecture.
• Conduct standard and custom courses tailored to customer and OEM requirements.
• Facilitate hands-on equipment demonstrations and troubleshooting exercises.
• Maintain and update curriculum and reference materials to match new products and firmware.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and SMEs for current content.
• Review training materials for technical accuracy with instructional designers.
• Adjust delivery to different audiences and skill levels using adult-learning practices.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials based on feedback.
• Maintain and troubleshoot training equipment and demonstration systems.
• Travel to customer sites and events as needed and provide post-training support.
