Copeland is seeking a Controls Trainer to deliver comprehensive training on controls hardware, software, and system architecture to customers, contractors, and end users across the commercial refrigeration industry.

You will translate complex concepts into practical learning, develop hands-on exercises, and stay current with new firmware releases. This fully remote role involves travel to client sites and Copeland training centers as needed, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration controls in field service or engineering.
• 2+ years CO2 system experience focusing on controls and troubleshooting.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for varied audiences.
• Working knowledge of controls programming, wiring diagrams, and system troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and multimedia training on controls hardware, software, and system architecture.
• Conduct standard and custom courses for customer and OEM requirements.
• Facilitate hands-on demonstrations and troubleshooting exercises that simulate real-world scenarios.
• Maintain and update training curriculum and materials to reflect new controls products and firmware releases.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and SMEs to ensure content accuracy.
• Review and validate technical accuracy of e-learning, videos, and job aids.
