BioIntelliSense is seeking a Controller to own the accounting function, a hands-on leader with a CPA, able to run tight monthly closes, lead audits, and author ASC 606 memos for multi-element contracts.

You will supervise a small accounting team, partner with the SVP of Finance, CEO and Board on financial reporting, cash management and strategic decisions, and defend judgments to auditors with calm precision.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelors or Masters in Accounting from a top-tier university.
• 8+ years accounting experience in venture-backed/PE-backed setting.
• 3+ years as Controller or equivalent.
• Experience drafting ASC 606 memos for multi-element contracts.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge: revenue, inventory, leases, equity.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical accounting file; draft ASC 606 memos for contracts.
• Author and maintain accounting policy papers and procedures.
• Lead monthly close, prepare GAAP financial statements and notes.
• Serve as liaison for annual audits and tax filings; coordinate with outside advisors.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team; support budgeting and Board materials.
