BearCom is seeking an Assistant Controller to own the accuracy of the General Ledger, reporting to the VP of Finance, and partnering with FP&A and Tax along with the extended leadership team.

This high-impact role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leading a team, ensuring GAAP compliance, and driving process improvements across accounting operations and system integrations.

Qualifications

• CPA required with strong GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance with focus on financial reporting.
• Proficient in JDE and NetSuite; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger functions and month-end close.
• Ensure timely GAAP-compliant financial reporting and consolidation.
• Lead audits, internal controls, and compliance.
• Drive process improvements and system integrations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with IT and FP&A for data integrity.
