Job summary

9amHealth is looking for a Controller to lead the accounting function at their remote office. You'll design income reporting structures that meet compliance standards such as GAAP, while ensuring books serve as strategic business assets. With 8-12 years of accounting experience and a CPA preferred, you'll collaborate closely with finance leaders, drive monthly closes, and manage relationships with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial intuition with a business-first mindset.
• 8-12 years of progressive accounting experience including managerial roles.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 718.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function end-to-end including month-end close.
• Partner closely with CFO and manage tax compliance.
• Produce financial reports that support analytics and business insights.

Big 4 audit foundation

Hands-on ERP expertise

Chart of accounts design experience

Deep technical accounting fluency
