Job summary

BioIntelliSense, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Controller to own the accounting function. This hands-on leadership role requires CPA credentials and a strong public accounting foundation to manage close cycles, audits, and the development of ASC 606 memos for complex multi‑element contracts across hardware and SaaS offerings.

You will lead a small accounting team, partner with executives, and drive financial reporting, cash management, and strategic decisions in a remote-first, US-based environment.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from a top-tier university.
• 3+ years of audit experience at a Big 4 or national public accounting firm.
• 8+ years of total progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller role.
• Experience drafting ASC 606 memos and other technical accounting papers for auditors.
• Deep working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition for multi-element arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Draft ASC 606 revenue recognition memos for new and amended contracts.
• Author and maintain accounting policies and position papers.
• Research GAAP guidance and brief leadership on conclusions.
• Design internal controls and procedures for scale and diligence.
• Oversee NetSuite configuration and reporting as administrator.
• Lead monthly close and prepare GAAP financial statements.
• Coordinate audits and tax returns with external advisors.
