Job summary

Handshake—a leading education and employment platform—seeks a Support Specialist, Contractor to support employers, students, and career services users. This 6‑month contract offers exposure to a rapidly growing AI-enabled ecosystem and a chance to work with diverse, marquee brands.

You will manage high-volume email and phone support, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate across Support, Success, Product, and Engineering to improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise SaaS or similar tech support environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex product issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• 90%: resolving questions, bugs, feedback, and general inquiries.
• Ticket Volume: ~20 - 30 email tickets per day.
• Phone Volume: ~10 calls over a 4 hour daily phone shift.
• 5%: attending team meetings (1-3 per week).
• 5%: completing administrative tasks (emails, daily announcements, training, etc.).
