Job summary

Premier Truck Rental is seeking a Contract Driver to safely transport PTR fleet across the United States in a CMV. This remote role emphasizes strict DOT compliance, safety, and customer service while handling occasional labor tasks and inspections.

Earn $30 per hour under a pay-per-mile plan, with benefits and growth opportunities. You will operate compliant trucks, complete required logs, and maintain equipment well under three years old.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years CMV driving experience.
• Must pass DOT physical and hold Medical Card.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Willingness to work overnights and weekends.
• Clean MVR and Driver History.
• Knowledge of loading and securing techniques.
• Willingness to assist with loading/unloading as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMV and follow traffic laws.
• Maintain DOT logs and complete required screenings.
• Deliver excellent customer service to PTR customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs.
• Complete required paperwork inside the vehicle.
• Properly secure cargo before transit.
• Ensure equipment is up-to-date and within age limits.
