Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) seeks a Contract Driver to safely transport our fleet across the United States, operating CMVs with DOT compliance and safety at the forefront. You will perform occasional labor tasks and ensure timely, professional service for PTR customers while maintaining accurate logs and paperwork.

The role blends independent driving with responsible asset handling and flexible scheduling, including overnights.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older and physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate motor vehicles and comply with traffic laws.
• Maintain DOT logs and pass required drug/alcohol screenings.
• Deliver professional customer service throughout transportation process.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete all required paperwork in the vehicle.
• Secure cargo per regulations and ensure equipment is up-to-date.
