Job summary

Premier Truck Rental is seeking a Contract Driver to safely transport fleet nationwide, operating CMVs and maintaining DOT compliance. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and thorough paperwork while supporting loading/unloading as needed.

Requirements include a valid CDL with Airbrake, at least 2 years CMV experience, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Remote work supported with a focus on flexible scheduling, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with Airbrake and have at least 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• Must meet DOT Physical requirements and possess a valid Medical Card.
• Clean MVR and Driver History Report is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Flexible schedule including overnights and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMVs and comply with all traffic laws and DOT guidelines.
• Maintain proper logs and comply with DOT drug/alcohol screening requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service during transport and handoffs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete required paperwork within the vehicle accurately.
• Secure cargo per regulations and ensure equipment up-to-date.
