Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) is seeking a Contract Driver to safely move our fleet across the United States from remote locations. This role requires operating a CMV, performing labor as needed, and adhering to all DOT and safety guidelines.

Compensation is pay-per-mile, with earnings averaging $30 per hour. You will join a team that values safety, customer service, and reliability, and you’ll work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and load/unload fleet.
• DOT Physical and Medical Card required.
• Clean MVR and Driver History.
• Willingness to work overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMV and transport fleet to customer locations.
• Comply with DOT guidelines and maintain logs.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the transportation process.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and report needed maintenance.
• Complete required paperwork in the vehicle.
• Secure cargo per regulations.
• Ensure equipment is up-to-date.
