Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) seeks a Contract Driver to safely transport our fleet nationwide, maintaining DOT compliance and high safety standards. Remote work across the United States, with a focus on efficient, customer-oriented service and on-time deliveries.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, handle loading/unloading as needed, and ensure cargo is secured according to regulations. This role offers a pay-per-mile structure averaging $30/hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• At least 2 years of experience driving a CMV.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overnights and weekends.
• DOT Physical and Medical Card required.
• Clean MVR and Driver History Report.
• Knowledge of proper loading and securing techniques.
• Willingness to assist with loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate motor vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and road conditions.
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA/DOT guidelines and maintain logs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to PTR customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational integrity of vehicles and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork within the vehicle.
• Secure cargo before transit per regulations.
• Ensure equipment is up-to-date and in good condition (less than three years old).
