Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) is seeking a Contract Driver to safely transport fleet across the United States. You will operate CMVs, perform occasional labor, and comply with DOT safety regulations while delivering high service levels to PTR customers.

Qualifications include a valid CDL Class A with Airbrake, at least 2 years of CMV experience, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs. A flexible schedule with overnights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including overnights and weekends.
• DOT Physical completed and Medical Card in possession.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate motor vehicles and adhere to traffic laws.
• Maintain DOT logbooks and comply with DOT guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service during the transportation process.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Keep vehicles clean and report needed repairs or maintenance.
• Complete all required paperwork in the vehicle.
• Secure cargo properly before transit in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure equipment is up-to-date (less than three years old).
