Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) is seeking a Contract Driver to safely transport our fleet nationwide. You will operate CMVs, perform required DOT compliance tasks, and uphold superior customer service standards across the United States.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A with Airbrake, at least 2 years CMV experience, and the ability to meet physical requirements. Expect a pay-per-mile structure with remote work potential and ongoing safety obligations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Airbrake endorsement.
• At least 2 years of experience driving a CMV.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and load/unload fleet.
• Willingness to work nights, overnights, and weekends.
• DOT Physical Examination completed and Medical Card held.
• Clean MVR and Driver History.
• Knowledge of proper loading and securing techniques.
• Willingness to assist with loading/unloading as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMVs and adhere to traffic laws.
• Maintain logs per FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to PTR customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Complete required paperwork inside the vehicle.
• Secure cargo prior to transit per regulations.
• Ensure equipment is up-to-date and in good repair.
