Job summary

Premier Truck Rental (PTR) seeks a Contract Driver to safely transport our fleet across the United States. You will operate CMVs, handle pre-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Airbrake, 2+ years CMV experience, and a clean MVR. Transfers, schedules, and on-time deliveries are critical to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of CMV driving experience.
• Must pass DOT physical examination and possess Medical Card.
• Must have clean MVR and Driver History Report.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CMV and adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork within the vehicle accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service to PTR customers during transportation process.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Secure cargo and ensure freight is properly loaded and secured before transit.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
