Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team. You’ll review documents, assess risks, and drive ground-up projects forward while ensuring conformance with plans.

Remote work may be available for the right candidate; travel is required and experience in multi-family/high-rise construction is essential. You’ll coordinate with loan and equity teams, maintain project records, and lead kickoff meetings for new construction initiatives,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the construction industry in PM or CM roles.
• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient knowledge of plans, specifications, construction contracts and loan draw review process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents and assess risks for loan closing.
• Interpret business issues and recommend process improvements.
• Solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
• Monitor construction through completion and attend on-site draw meetings.
• Maintain project documentation for internal distribution.
