Pacific Life is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services team in Newport Beach, CA. We will consider fully remote for the right candidate.

The role involves reviewing monthly status of ground-up construction projects, with extensive experience in multi-family and other high‑rise or industrial structures. You will fill a position on a team of four Construction Managers, coordinating with loan closing and equity teams, and traveling for on-site draw meetings to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the construction industry, PM or CM roles.
• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with plans, specs, contracts, and loan draw review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with deadline-driven adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents and assessments to evaluate risks and provide feedback to loan closing and equity teams during due diligence.
• Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend improvements.
• Solve complex problems with broad perspective and innovative solutions.
• Monitor construction through completion and attend on-site draw meetings; travel as required.
