Job summary

SOLV Energy (USA) is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support multiple EPC operations, including warranty forensics, tech deployment, and field data management. The role is remote with required travel, beginning as a contingent position with potential to go permanent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience, with guidance and growth toward independent execution (Engineer I).
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings across civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical plans.
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes, testing practices (pile load testing), and engineering documentation.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and disciplined documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support warranty forensics by gathering field data, photos, and installation details.
  • Assist in emerging technologies implementation, including GPS pile driving and drone data workflows.
  • Coordinate engineering information flow, manage RFIs, and track closures to prevent delays.
  • Document pile load testing procedures, sequences, and field results.
  • Contribute to constructability reviews and SOP/technique development.
