Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Construction Engineer I to support warranty analysis, emerging technologies implementation, and field engineering during operations for nationwide solar and substation projects.

This remote role involves travel to sites as needed and collaboration with project teams and clients. Responsibilities include coordinating RFIs, maintaining documentation, deploying GPS-enabled equipment and drone workflows, and supporting pre-construction pile testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field required or preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience with guided growth toward independent work.
• EIT certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
• Ability to read civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather field data, photos, as-built info, and installation details for warranty reviews.
• Coordinate RFIs and design updates to support field execution and reviews.
• Assist with drone flights, GPS data, and tech SOP development.
• Manage engineering docs, drawing sets, and version control.
• Support pile load testing prep, scheduling, and test documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams for issue resolution.
• Identify risks, missing details, and constructability concerns for early mitigations.
