Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I as a contingent role with potential to become permanent. The position focuses on engineering coordination, documentation, and warranty analysis across EPC operations.

Travel will be required, while some work may be performed remotely, with interview discussions clarifying specifics. The role supports warranty forensics, emerging technologies implementation, and initial design pile load testing, contributing to field data, drawings, and field team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Studies, or a closely related technical field (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience, with guidance toward independent execution (Engineer I).
  • EIT certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical).
  • Foundational understanding of construction processes, testing practices (pile load testing), and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support warranty claim evaluations by gathering field data and documentation.
  • Assist in deployment of GPS, drone-based topo capture, and machine control datasets.
  • Coordinate daily engineering information flow to field teams and manage RFIs.
  • Document pile load testing procedures, test sequences, and results.
  • Identify constructability risks and support SOPs and workflows.
