Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Construction Engineer I for a contingent role with the potential to transition to a permanent position. This remote role will require travel and supports warranty analysis, emerging technologies implementation, field data collection, and pile load testing during initial design.

The position emphasizes engineering coordination, documentation rigor, and collaboration with project teams across engineering, operations, and technology groups.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 0–3 years experience with guidance.
  • Ability to read civil, structural, electrical, and geotechnical drawings.
  • Understanding of construction processes and pile load testing basics.
  • Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD/GIS and drone workflows a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering information flow to field teams and distribute updates.
  • Draft clear RFIs, route to correct discipline, and track closure.
  • Interpret project design requirements and maintain document control systems.
  • Support constructability reviews and risk identification.
  • Assist with warranty forensics and technology SOPs.
  • Support pre-construction pile load testing coordination and data tracking.
  • Build relationships with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
