Job summary

Actalent is seeking a remote Document Control Specialist to manage and improve project documentation and train users on the Document Management System. The role focuses on overseeing workflows, filing, and archiving while ensuring compliance with contract terms.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, support QA/QC audits, and coordinate with vendors to maintain up-to-date document lists. This is a fully remote contract position based from Virginia Beach, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of document control experience.
• Experience with Unifier or Primavera tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Document Management System and related workflows.
• Manage electronic and hard copy project documentation and provide status reports.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to optimize resource use and identify risks.
• Provide training on the Document Management System to users.
• Lead document control items and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Assist QA/QC in auditing onsite document control activities.
