Job summary

North American Risk Services Inc. is seeking a Claims Unit Manager focused on Construction Defect, with remote work options. Lead a team of 5-8 claims professionals, ensure compliance with audits, and maintain confidentiality while driving service excellence.

You will mentor staff, manage workflows, and coordinate with Quality Assurance to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. Prior claims supervision and licensure readiness are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall claims and litigation experience, preferably in the line of business handled.
• Preferred 2+ years Claims Supervisory experience or similar/related experience.
• Claims designation (AIC, ARM, CPCU, SCLA or other industry related) preferred.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a unit of 5-8 claims personnel and manage their caseloads.
• Ensure file handling standards and audits are met; draft internal/external emails and LLRs.
• Demonstrate commitment to mission and confidentiality of information.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to meet company objectives.
• Review claims appeals/grievances and investigate complaints.
• Enforce company policies and promote service-oriented culture.
• Provide leadership to achieve key business goals and guide timely outcomes.
