Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Complex Claims Manager to oversee complex Construction Defect claims, including investigation, evaluation, and resolution of high-severity cases. You will assess coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements within authority limits while guiding junior staff.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or insurance and at least 5 years of Construction Defect claims experience.

Qualifications

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex or high-exposure Construction Defect claims.
• Perform coverage analysis and determine liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Present reports on claim status and risk exposure to management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in complex Construction Defect claims.
• Experience with litigation management and settlement negotiation.
• Adjuster license as required by jurisdiction.
• Certifications such as CPCU or AIC preferred but not mandatory.
