Job summary

Assist World is seeking an experienced Construction Billing & Bookkeeping Specialist to own billing, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping support in a 100% remote role. You’ll handle AIA Forms 702/703, progress billing, change orders, and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online and Salesforce.

This part-time position starts at 20 hours/week with potential to grow to full-time as the business expands. Strong communication and independence in a remote setup are essential.

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience required.
• Experience with construction billing and progress billing.
• Hands-on with AIA Forms 702 and 703.
• Knowledge of change orders and project billing.
• Accounts receivable and collections experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience using Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Remote work ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage AIA billing, including Forms 702 and 703.
• Handle construction progress billing and ensure invoices are accurate and submitted on time.
• Process and track change orders.
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Update and manage customer and project information within Salesforce.
• Reconcile billing information and identify discrepancies.
• Work closely with customers to resolve billing queries professionally.
• Assist with maintaining efficient billing and accounting processes.
• Provide general administrative support related to billing and bookkeeping as required.
