Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance (Conflicts) Analyst to join the US team. The role conducts conflict-of-interest research and analysis by reviewing matter intake, performing corporate and database research, and identifying issues for lawyer review.

You will work with Compliance Lawyers to ensure accurate, timely conflict checks and risk assessments. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of conflicts or legal‑analyst experience, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar analyst experience) required.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; experience with international business correspondence preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn law and principles regarding conflict of interest issues; ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict-of-interest searches and research.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform corporate and database research to identify potential conflicts.
• Summarize basis for potential conflicts and communicate findings to lawyers.
• Collaborate with Compliance Lawyers to ensure accurate, efficient workflows.
• Safeguard confidential information and maintain discretion in all matters.
