Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar analyst experience).
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; prior exposure to international business correspondence is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to learn law and conflict of interest principles.
• Ability to keep confidential information and exercise discretion.

Responsibilities

• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for completion and accuracy.
• Respond to requests to perform conflicts of interest searches.
• Research corporate history and affiliations of clients and parties.
• Use Boolean searching and database queries to identify potential conflicts.
• Summarize basis for potential conflicts and communicate findings to lawyers.
