Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance (Conflicts) Analyst to join our US team. The role focuses on conflict-of-interest research, reviewing matter intake, and identifying potential issues for lawyer review.

The analyst works with Compliance Lawyers and uses databases to support accurate conflict checks. The position requires strong research, organizational skills, and discretion, with remote flexibility from states where the firm has offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1 year of conflicts or similar analyst experience required.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; exposure to international business is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities are essential.
• Willingness to learn law and conflict-of-interest fundamentals; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict-of-interest searches and research for assigned matters.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform corporate history and affiliation research using databases and web sources.
• Design effective Boolean searches and tailor queries to identify relevant conflicts.
• Summarize findings and communicate potential conflicts to Compliance Lawyers.
• Collaborate with Compliance Lawyers to streamline workflows and ensure accuracy.
