Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance (Conflicts) Analyst to join our US team. The analyst will conduct conflict‑of‑interest research, review matter intake, and identify potential issues for lawyer review. This role may be performed remotely from states where the firm maintains an office.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least one year of conflicts experience, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar analyst experience) required.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; international business correspondence a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to learn conflict-of-interest principles.
• Ability to keep confidential information and exercise discretion.
• Proven stability, calm demeanor, and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Solid knowledge of world geography.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize; know when to seek guidance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide conflict-of-interest research for client matters and reviews.
• Review information submitted by lawyers for accuracy and follow up as needed.
• Research corporate history and affiliations; search for parent/subsidiaries.
• Use Boolean searches to query the conflicts database and design effective queries.
• Summarize potential conflicts and communicate them to assigned attorneys.
• Work with Compliance Lawyers to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
