Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build a brand-new reporting team focused on state and agency-specific compliance requirements. The role emphasizes configuring forms, reporting workflows, and scalable automation to enable deployments in new jurisdictions.

The candidate will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions, while improving tooling and internal standards for

Qualifications

• Public safety tech experience is required.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with Forms.io strongly preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript, JSON, or similar scripting/configuration languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and ability to work directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
