Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This role helps shape a brand new function responsible for building configurable reports to expand into new markets and meet state and agency-specific reporting requirements.

You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions, develop forms and workflows, and improve tooling and documentation for

Qualifications

• Experience in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers deploy Mark43 in new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.
