Mark43 seeks a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a new team dedicated to building configurable reports for expanding into new markets and jurisdictions. The role focuses on translating customer needs into scalable reporting solutions, ensuring state and agency-specific compliance, and partnering across Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to deliver reliable outcomes.

You will contribute to form configuration automation using JavaScript and JSON, while helping

Qualifications

• Experience in public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms/workflows/reporting solutions (Forms.io preferred).
• Experience with scripting/configuration languages such as JavaScript/JSON.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure state-specific reporting forms to meet compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows to minimize customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify product improvements.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices for a growing team and enable scalable reporting capabilities.
• Write and maintain scripts for form configuration and automation (JavaScript, JSON).
• Improve internal docs and tooling to simplify compliance reporting.
