Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to help build a brand-new team responsible for configurable reports enabling expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. The role focuses on delivering state- and agency-specific reporting capabilities while collaborating with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Public safety technology experience required.
• Experience building or configuring forms/workflows; Forms.io preferred.
• Experience with scripting/configuration languages such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Strong problem-solving skills and translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms satisfying state-specific compliance for new jurisdictions.
• Collaborated with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Helped customers troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify product improvements.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliance reporting.
