Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand-new team responsible for building configurable reports for expanding into new markets. The role focuses on creating forms and workflows that meet state and agency-specific requirements, while collaborating with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering.

Ideal candidates will have experience configuring reporting solutions, scripting with JavaScript/JSON, and strong communication skills to work with

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms to satisfy state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identified product improvement opportunities.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand-new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliance reporting build, maintenance, and scale.
