Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a brand new team building configurable reports for state and agency-specific requirements. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.

You will design and maintain reporting forms, scripts, and workflows, reducing customization while meeting diverse regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements for new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows to reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identified product improvements.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to simplify compliance reporting.
