Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join a newly formed team responsible for building configurable reports enabling expansion into new markets and jurisdictions. You will collaborate with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate client needs into scalable technical solutions and develop forms and workflows that meet state and agency compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering to translate customer reporting needs into scalable solutions.
• Develop configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges with customers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Help establish engineering standards and processes for a brand-new team supporting Mark43's growth.
• Write and maintain scripts to support form configuration and automation.
• Improve internal documentation and tooling for easier compliance reporting.
