AFFIRM is seeking a Compliance Manager to own compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program. You will make independent, risk-based calls across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing, partnering with product, engineering, and operations to ship compliant features.

You will lead root-cause analysis and remediation for card compliance issues, ensure regulatory alignment, and contribute to exams and audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a compliance advisory role within financial services with a Bachelor's degree (6+ years with a Master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD, or equivalent)
• Deep working knowledge of EFTA (Reg E) and TILA (Reg Z)/CARD Act as applied to card products, plus familiarity with Reg DD and UDAAP
• Hands-on experience with card network rules (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) is a plus
• Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and communicate regulatory issues clearly

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end compliance advisory for the AFFIRM Card program across marketing, onboarding, wallets, disputes, and servicing.
• Lead root-cause analysis and remediation for card compliance issues to ensure durable fixes.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support regulatory exams and bank partner audits with Compliance Testing, Legal, and Risk.
• Maintain the Card program's compliance risk assessment and control inventory.
• Develop and maintain compliance training and reference materials specific to Card regulatory requirements.
• Surface risk early in the product lifecycle and provide expert guidance on new features
