Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company seeking an Analytics Lead for Compliance Shared Services to own the analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business. Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data role in regulated industry.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data stack (Snowflake & Databricks) experience with automated pipelines and data quality checks.
• Knowledge of consumer credit regulations (TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, EFTA/Reg E, FCRA, SCRA, MLA, TCPA).
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into data logic and automated monitoring.
• Experience guiding or training junior analysts and delivering under deadlines.
• Comfort with ambiguity, self-directed prioritization, and clear communication to legal and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and govern automated compliance monitoring with rule-based checks and audit-ready evidence.
• Own data ownership for regulatory examinations and bank partner requests, with defined extraction logic.
• Triage anomalies, distinguish data artifacts from real exceptions, and drive remediation with validation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain the control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap by turning recurring reports into pipelines and self-service tools.
• Maintain the data environment, runbooks, and methodology documentation.
• Provide day-to-day direction and onboarding for a supporting data analyst.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to expand coverage across jurisdictions.
