Job summary

Affirm seeks an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services, to own the compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business.

You translate regulatory obligations into data checks and translate data anomalies into regulatory answers, while guiding a junior analyst and partnering with engineering, legal, and product teams. The role blends weekly monitoring with high-intensity audits, and supports remote work within the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics or a similar data role in regulated finance.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data stack experience.
• Knowledge of TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, EFTA/Reg E, FCRA, SCRA, MLA, TCPA is a plus.
• Ability to translate regulations into data questions.
• Proven ability to deliver under hard deadlines with audit needs.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate automated compliance monitoring.
• Own data extraction and validation for regulatory exams.
• Triage and resolve data anomalies and remediation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap using AI-assisted development.
• Maintain data environment, runbooks, and methodology.
• Provide onboarding and coaching for analysts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit and bank partners.
