Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into data checks and provide evidence-backed answers for regulators and auditors.

You will lead a senior analytics function, coach a supporting data analyst, and drive the automation roadmap across cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics or related data role in regulated industry.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into data checks and evidence.
• Experience coaching/junior analysts and delivering under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring.
• Serve as primary data owner for regulatory examinations and bank audits: scope requests, extract data, validate results.
• Triage monitoring exceptions and data anomalies; route to resolution and document findings.
• Map automated checks to regulatory requirements and maintain the control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap: build pipelines and self-service tools with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Steward the data environment: adjudicate data quality and maintain runbooks/methodology.
• Provide onboarding and guidance to junior analysts, promoting independence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, and Auditors to expand coverage across products and jurisdictions.
