Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own the compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product consumer lending business. Translate regulatory obligations into data checks and guide a junior analyst to ensure evidence-grade, auditable results.

You will partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to broaden monitoring coverage across jurisdictions and products while maintaining strong data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data role in regulated industries.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with a modern cloud data stack (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of consumer credit regulations and converting obligations into data logic.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable data checks.
• Experience training or guiding junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and govern automated compliance monitoring with rule-based checks.
• Own data for regulatory examinations, licensing audits, and bank partner requests.
• Triages monitoring exceptions and data anomalies with remediation guidance.
• Map automated checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive the automation roadmap with scalable pipelines and self-service tools.
• Coach and provide day-to-day direction to a supporting data analyst.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to expand coverage.
