Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst specializing in conflicts for the US lateral hiring program. You will perform conflict checks, review submissions, and research corporate histories to identify potential issues, working closely with a Compliance Attorney and a global team.

The role demands strong research, detail orientation, and confidentiality, with a flexible remote option and mandated collaboration with the US Compliance Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of conflicts or legal assistant experience required.
• In lieu of bachelor's degree, five years of conflicts or legal assistant experience required.
• Excellent oral and written business communication skills; prior exposure to international business correspondence is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven stability and calm demeanor with the ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to lawyer and staff requests to perform conflicts of interest searches.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and support staff for completion and accuracy.
• Research corporate history of clients and parties; search for corporate affiliations.
• Use Boolean searching to query the conflicts database and design effective searches.
• Summarize the basis for potential conflicts and communicate with the assigned Compliance Attorney.
