Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Compliance Analyst to perform conflict-of-interest checks for lateral hiring, reviewing matter intake, and using the conflicts database to support attorney review. You will research corporate histories and use Boolean queries to identify potential issues while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 1 year of conflicts or legal assistant experience, or 5 years in a similar analyst role.
• Strong oral and written business communication skills; knowledge of international business correspondence is a plus.
• Proven interpersonal and analytical abilities; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict-of-interest research and analysis for matter intake and databases.
• Perform conflicts checks for US lateral hiring efforts and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for completeness and accuracy.
