Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst focused on conflicts checks related to lateral hiring. This role requires proficient conflicts research, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within the US compliance team.

The team collaborates across global offices. A self-starter with excellent research and organizational skills is essential, as is the ability to protect confidential information and exercise sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of conflicts or legal assistant experience preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 5 years of conflicts or legal assistant experience accepted.
• Excellent oral and written business communication; international correspondence a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to keep confidential information and exercise discretion.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflicts of interest searches for lawyers and staff.
• Review information for completeness and accuracy; follow up as needed.
• Research corporate histories and affiliations of clients and parties.
• Design effective Boolean searches to query the conflicts database.
• Summarize potential conflicts and advise assigned Compliance Attorney.
• Collaborate with Compliance Attorney to ensure efficient workflow.
