Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP seeks an experienced Compliance (Lateral Hiring Conflicts) Analyst to perform conflicts research for US lateral hiring and support the US Compliance Team. The role requires keen attention to detail, independent judgment, and proficiency with conflicts databases.

The candidate will review matter intake, perform corporate research, and collaborate across global Compliance Teams while maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1 year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar analyst role) preferred.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, five years of conflicts or legal assistant experience may satisfy requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to conflict-of-interest searches for lawyers and staff.
• Review information submitted by lawyers and staff for accuracy and completeness.
• Research corporate histories and affiliations of clients and parties.
• Design effective database searches and distinguish relevant results.
• Summarize basis for potential conflicts for assigned Compliance Attorney.
• Collaborate with Compliance Attorneys to ensure accurate workflow and follow-up.
