Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking an experienced Compliance (Lateral Hiring Conflicts) Analyst to perform conflicts checks for US lateral hiring. You will review matter intake, conduct research, and identify issues for lawyer review, while maintaining discretion and accuracy.

The role supports a global compliance team across regions. The position may be performed remotely from states where the firm has an office, with office attendance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or five years conflicts experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Respond to conflicts-of-interest searches for lawyers and staff.
• Review information submitted for accuracy and clarify as needed.
• Research corporate history and affiliations of clients and parties.
• Design effective Boolean searches and interpret results.
• Summarize basis for potential conflicts to the assigned Attorney.
• Collaborate with Compliance Attorney to ensure accurate workflow.
• Maintain confidentiality of firm information.
