Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressively responsible supervisory role within a claims environment.
• 7+ years of complex claims experience.
• Two+ years of litigation experience, preferably involving SIU.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
• Professional designation or certification such as AIC, CPCU, or ICAR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims.
• Provide technical guidance to adjusters on coverage, liability, and settlement.
• Direct daily operations and staffing across multiple shifts, including remote work.
• Ensure compliance with DOI regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with brokers and clients as a claims liaison and drive process improvements.
• Oversee internal and external counsel and manage litigation costs.
